I like the dark trim around the window but I liked the white around the edges of the house better. Felt like it caused the rest of it pop out more.

Don't skimp on the paint. If you're going to use Behr...use Behr Marquis. It's their top of the line and is one of the 2 or 3 best paints you can buy. I would use it in satin.
