With the amount of leaves your mountainside will produce, you might want to look into a rear mounted leaf vac for your zero turn. Get your grass growing on the drive sides and you can vac up the leaves rather than pushing them out of the way for a few hours! You may want to concrete over some of the area near the garage and such, but your driveway would be like a road building project- I'd just capitalize on the rock the previous owner spent large on. You might ask your brother if his construction company has some, or might subsidize buying some scaffold sections and accessories. FWIW, I'd replace all the vapor barrier as you do each wall. KOKO!

Be sure to watch a hardy siding video and learn how to flash the butt ends of the siding where they join. It will prevent water intrusion. You can use metal flashing or 30 lb. felt. I prefer the aluminum flashing and paint it whatever color you choose.

Guys, When you come to paint the stone front of the house, maybe leave the corner detail raised stone work on the left hand side of the main house, in stone to make a feature out of it. Very traditional over here in England on Victorian and Georgian buildings. You can always paint it white after, if its not to your liking. Worth a try I thought. Keep up the good work. Matt from UK
